Robert E. Breisch Professional Biography

Robert E. Breisch grew up in Sand Springs, OK, where he graduated with honors from Charles Page High School. Robert then graduated with a Bachelor of Art in Graphic Design from Oklahoma State University.

Robert started his career as a freelance web and graphic designer.  He often served as a contract designer to such firms as Spherexx of Tulsa, Price Creative Group of Oklahoma City, and Entirely Creative of Tulsa.

In 2003, CareerTech brought him on full-time as a Web Designer, where Robert worked on various online e-learning projects.  In December of 2004, he was promoted to Flash Developer. He provided interface design and flash animations and programming for a number of web development projects.  These primarily consisted of Flash oriented modules with an emerging Content Management Systems (CMS) focus.

With the further advancement of Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and the need for greater web accessibility, Robert provided expertise on the branding and template customizations of CMS projects. He developed accessible HTML website templates to met Section 508 Web Standards and the Oklahoma House Bill 2197 Accessibility Laws, and provided training to various agencies and organizations.  Robert served on the Electronic and Information Technology Assistance working group in the development of guidelines and technical assistance documentation to help state agencies become web accessible.

In 2007, Robert joined the CareerTech Information System team and helped to develop the IMPACT Application Suite, providing the theme template and branding for this set of online application forms. Later, this segued into the development of the CTIS Application Suite theme, of which all of CareerTech’s information data will be integrated.  In 2009, Robert’s focus changed to full-time web management as he was promoted to Web Media Specialist. In this position, he was charged with launching a new website for the agency and its 50 plus divisional websites. The site was launched in December 2011. Robert is currently serving as the Web Media Specialist for Information Services Division of the Office of State Finance, where he primarily serves the CareerTech agency, continuing to provide web user interface and branding design services.
